Sculpture blog: March 2016

Two workshops, in February and March at the Otaki Potters introduced me to a fabulous club of clay enthusiasts. Each was fully booked with 10 people who came to learn how to form a realistic looking head, not an easy task! Using a sculptural clay we built up a column around a stand adding clay to create an anatomically and proportionally correct head. Day two we hollowed it out and finished with features and personal touches. Congratulations and thank you.

The Fashionista Collection exhibition now concludes and a new A+E Gallery exhibition takes its place. However Annika still has a few of these characters on sale.
